Sherri's love for beaches started when she was a young girl growing up in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. At thirteen she was diagnosed with dyslexia, which is a learning disability.
There are different kinds of dyslexia which is unknown to most people. At that time there was little understanding about dyslexia, so school was a difficult place for her. She became very observant in her way of learning.
Sherri's pallet choices come from the beauty of the mountains that surround her and the blues and greens of the ocean crashing down on the browns and tans of the sands of the Malibu beaches.
Sherri's inspiration is the world around her and it's beauty is woven into the knots and leather of her designs. Sherri Bostwick and her husband, Actor Barry Bostwick live on Zacha's 250 acre horse ranch in Malibu, CA, with their two children, Brian and Chela.
